Born in Princeton, IL Ap 23, 1949, he was granted an A.A. degree at Sauk Valley in 1969, then obtained a Bachelor of Science from ISU, Normal in 1971. In 1987 Doc earned a Masters from Fla. Int'l Univ. (FIU), then a Specialist Degree in math from Nova University, and a doctorate, in 1992 from FIU. Doc's legal first name is Dr., so with his doctorate, he is Dr. Dr. A good 'air name' for radio!

Dr. Dr. began his career with 50 different stations in 1967, including WKBW, WRNO, WNOE, WFUN. In 2004, he bought 96.7 FM-WZPH, Zephyrhills, FL "The Zephyr," and now has a world record of playing over three million songs in a row. It's nonstop oldies rock 'n' roll for the past 18 years with NO COMMERCIALS. 

Doc also was a television show host for "Dial A Teacher" in Miami, and is a weather forecaster for Weatherbug.com. Dr. Dr. also has 40+ years mathematics and computer teaching experience, including faculty positions at FIU, USF and since 2002, is a professor at Strayer University, Univ. of Mary and Career Nurses Institute online.

"Doc" has 2 children: Richard 45, and Katie, 32, and 2 grandchildren Kierra, 15, and Kya, 12.
